- 1 1.5L bottle Frontera Merlot
- 3 oranges
- Peel of 1 lemon
- 1/3 cup honey
- 5 cloves
- 6 cardamom pods
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 1 pinch grated nutmeg
- Add juice and peel of one orange into a large pot. Add lemon peels, honey, cloves, cardamom pods, cinnamon sticks and nutmeg.
- Add 1 cup of wine into pot and boil down mixture 8-10 minutes to thicken into a syrup.
- Pour in the rest of the wine. Simmer to warm. Serve in a mug with wedged orange as garnish.
