MMM! Mulled Merlot

  1. 1 1.5L bottle Frontera Merlot
  2. 3 oranges
  3. Peel of 1 lemon
  4. 1/3 cup honey
  5. 5 cloves
  6. 6 cardamom pods
  7. 2 cinnamon sticks
  8. 1 pinch grated nutmeg
  1. Add juice and peel of one orange into a large pot. Add lemon peels, honey, cloves, cardamom pods, cinnamon sticks and nutmeg.
  2. Add 1 cup of wine into pot and boil down mixture 8-10 minutes to thicken into a syrup.
  3. Pour in the rest of the wine. Simmer to warm. Serve in a mug with wedged orange as garnish.
