Scott Commings developed an appreciation for food at a very young age. Born on a dairy farm in Wisconsin, Commings went from working around the farm to working in restaurants, subsequently earning his Associates Degree in Restaurant Management from Purdue University.
Chef Commings continued to develop his culinary repertoire working as executive chef in restaurants and inns throughout the Midwest. He auditioned for season 12 of Gordon Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen, which he ended up winning—and made a name for himself as the biggest comeback chef in the history of the show. It was his leadership, beautifully executed menu, and unwavering determination in the kitchen that earned him the victory.
